A beautiful grassed park setting bordering the Fraser & Anderson Rivers. Full hookups -electrical 15 and 30 amp and water. Firepits, picnic tables, clean washrooms with hot showers, sanidump, and sandy volleyball/badminton court. Fishing, walking and gorgeous scenery for photography and plein aire painting/sketching. Ask about special events during the season, such as a nearby archealogical dig or a gold panning competition. On site staff 24 hrs/day
Boston Bar got its name during the 1860's from the term 'Boston Men.' This was a name given by the local First Nations to the people who came to this area to seek a fortune in gold. Many of the men were American and from the East Coast, especially the Boston area and, consequently, the name: Boston Men.'
